Gionee F103 Pro launched India:Take a look at the features it has on offer.
Gionee always impress us with some really cool smartphones, & personally, I’m a fan of their phones. When you think of Gionee, the first thought that comes to you is the word ‘Elife’. But no, this time its not an Elife series smartphone from them.
It the Gionee F103 Pro.The F103 Pro is the successor of F103 which was launched in last September.
Let’s take a look at the features of this phone:
First of all, the phone’s design is what will make you go ‘Wow’.It has a rounded edge design that is seen on most of the smartphones of today. The front features Capacitive Menu,Home & Back buttons which follows Android stock design of navigation buttons. The exterior is full metal & has a non-removable battery. The rear side also has Gionee’s new logo & the surprise is that a fingerprint sensor is embedded in itself.
The Gionee F103 Pro runs on Amigo OS 3.2, which is a custom version of Android 6.0, much like Xiaomi’s MIUI. Both have almost same features-apps reside on the Home screen itself, there’s no App drawer. And the inclusion of customized apps & a themeable launcher. Apps run fast-as expected from such a smartphone. The launcher does has some nice features too but we’ve seen them in Xiaomi phones.

The smartphone features 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280*720 resolution & this translates to 294ppi (Pixels Per Inch). It is powered by Mediatek MT6735 SoC running at 1.3GHz, ably supported by 3GB RAM. The inbuilt storage is 16GB which can be expanded to 128GB using microSD.
It also supports 4G VoLTE(which is used in most countries & also in India) & NFC. It also supports the latest Bluetooth 4.0 standards. The dual sim support also means that you don’t have to lug around another phone with it.
The Rear camera is 13 Megapixels with Flash & for Selfie-freaks, Gionee has provided a 5MP Front cam. The 2400mAh battery which can comfortably provide upto approx. 20hrs of talk time & 470hrs of standby completes the list.

The phone is priced reasonably at ₹12,000 ($182). It should be interesting to see how Gionee F103 competes with Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 & Oppo A37 which are in the similar price range.
